    What you'll do

    Six hours behind real DJ gear

    Saturday we cover the fundamentals. Sunday we put it into practice — by the end of the weekend you'll have played your first mix.

    Touch a real Pioneer CDJ setup — no pressure, no judgement
    Understand BPM, beatmatching and the basics of EQ
    Cue, drop and blend two tracks together
    Play your first short mix on Saturday night gear
    Get a feel for whether the full 6-week course is right for you

    What to bring

    A laptop with Rekordbox is required — we build your personal DJ library on your own machine.

    Mac or Windows. Non-negotiable — Rekordbox runs on your machine.

    Rekordbox installed (free)

    Download from rekordbox.com before you arrive.

    USB stick (we lend you one)

    We supply USB sticks to borrow in class. Upgrade to the full course and you can keep it — or buy for 200 kr. Own stick? Must be FAT32, Master Boot Record formatted or it WILL NOT WORK.

    Headphones (optional)

    Bring your own pair, or use ours.
